In the strength of the Lord, I can do ALL things : Week 43 (1/27/14)

I have a new companion! Her name is Sister Upshaw! I knew that I was getting her ;) I had a dream about it! That and… there wasn't too many English sisters being transferred haha :) I love her already! But I miss Sister Andersen!

We had an amazing mission wide conference with someone from the 70 on Saturday. It was AMAZING! It was hilarious! I didn't even realized that we were in the chapel for 3 1/2 hours with no break because we were all so glued!

He talked about the Book of Mormon. It was so powerful. He said that it's not just a history book like we make it seem to so many people. Mormon knew EXACTLY what he was doing. Nephi and Jacob were before Christ came. They both saw Jesus Christ. Mormon and Moroni were both after. They both saw Jesus Christ. By the mouth of 2 or 3 witnesses. Nephi and Jacob testify of Isaiah, and Mormon and Moroni testify of the Jaredites. SO cool. Then he talks about how in the war chapters the "bad guys" are like satan and we learn how Satan is and how to combat him. I really saw that in my studies this morning in Alma 2 with Amalici.

Then he talked about hastening the work, of course ;) and here's something he said that still gives me the chills. He said (talking about the 12 and 70 and stuff)- " We have come to the knowledge that there is a certain urgency in the work."

I can't even explain. The way he said it, I just know.

Let's get this stuff going!
